As a working student in quality assurance (QA) at shyftplan, you will be part of a highly motivated international team with a strong ambition to solve our customers’ problems.


Your tasks and goals

Your main responsibility will be to support our existing QA engineers with testing our software. This includes user acceptance testing, exploratory testing and incident management. Furthermore, your responsibility will be to extend our test automation suite which enables us to automatically verify the proper functionality of our web and mobile applications. You will closely collaborate with the development and product teams within the Scrum framework to deliver a high-quality user experience.

Our QA tech stack: TypeScript, Jest, Playwright, Docker, GitHub actions

Job requirements

  • You are enrolled at a German university for at least two more semesters

  • Strong ambition to deliver high-quality web applications

  • Some experience in programming, especially using JavaScript or TypeScript

  • Fluent English in speaking and writing

  • You are based in Berlin

  • You ideally bring experience of test automation (Puppeteer, Selenium, Playwright or similar)
