Your Playground

As a Freelance Web Designer (m/f/d) at shyftplan, you will support our highly motivated international team. Your main responsibility will be to improve our website based on CraftCMS. You will closely collaborate with the frontend and marketing teams within the Scrum framework to deliver a high-quality user experienceKey Expectations for the Freelance Web Designer (m/f/d) are:

  • Collaborate with our dev team, marketing and other stakeholders to iteratively improve our website, e.g. by adjusting our already existing ROI-Calculator, integration of video content, animations and/or interactive elements
  • Create mockups of new and existing pages
  • Refine and evolve our Design System
  • Openly discuss possible chances for improving existing workflows and processes
  • Seek and give feedback on your work and that of your coworkers via multiple channels (one-on-one and group meetings, code reviews)


Required qualifications
  • Several years of experience in designing websites
  • Excellent experience in design tools, PHP and Typescript
  • Familiar with Content Management Systems (like CraftCMS and Contentful)
  • Strong ambition to produce maintainable, high-quality design components
  • Excellent understanding of the entire software development lifecycle and working in an agile team
  • Demonstrated strategic product design thinking and vision in your portfolio
  • An eagerness to execute on visual and interaction details with a keen eye for detail
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written
