Dev Ops Engineer Node/Ruby (f/m)

Prepare our App for massive scale

 

 

Your Playground

  • Strong background in deployment automation/configuration management with virtualized environments
  • Build a stable and fast Backend which is able to handle thousands of requests per second
  • Ability to analyze and optimize performance in high-traffic internet applications
  • Work with Docker, Linux and Serverless based infrastructure
  • Nodejs and Ruby based Web Applications and Services
  • A well-structured programming environment with Sprints, CI-Server, Bug-Tracker and Ticketing System

Requirements

Your profile

  • A university degree would be nice, but we care more about your hands-on experience and on what you have worked over the last years as an Operations Engineer
  • Direct experience developing/running modern applications on AWS and well-versed in best practices and patterns
  • A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things higher
  • You are experienced with Ruby and Javascript
  • Experience with SQL

Bonus points

  • Experience in deploying to Elastic Beanstalk
  • Experience in using Lambda
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Prior experience with or knowledge of large scale, high volume systems
  • Experience in small start-up environments
