Your Playground

We are looking for Business Development Representatives (BDR) to generate and nurture sales leads for our employee management and communication solution. Working closely with our marketing and sales teams, you will develop new business leads by a mix of warm and cold calling. The role will also entail taking part in events and being involved in partner sales activities, talking directly to customers and articulating the benefits of shyftplan. Be part of the shyftplan’s growth team and generate business opportunities for the whole sales unit.

  • Prospect, screen and qualify businesses through cold calling and emailing
  • Meet and exceed call goals and deliver a high quantity of well-qualified sales opportunities
  • Approach potential clients on LinkedIn, Xing and other relevant channels
  • Optimize your social selling skills to generate interest among key players within targeted industries
  • Identify and overcome objections and address business pain points proactively
  • Take part in events and present the benefits of shyftplan to prospects directly
  • Make extensive use of Salesforce to maintain accurate account data and provide actionable information within the pipeline

    Your Profile

    • Prior experience in an outbound focused sales position in a tech company would be desired, a customer oriented background is required (e.g. sales, marketing, customer service)
    • Experienced in establishing strategic relationships with decision makers
    • Proven experience in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, as well as in time and territory management
    • A fresh and individual take on identifying and approaching potential customers
    • Ability to empathize with different stakeholders inside an organization
    • Native level German, business proficient in English
